Operation Poast handz und descrieb butthurts

So this is really just my own little thread to keep track of my poker playing, and bitch about things one bitches about, as well as post hands for advice.

Introduction: I started playing srs bsns pokar like 4 months ago, and have lost a lot of manies from then because of fail br management, playing poker as a source of cash and not as a game (makes a lot of difference in my mind) and lastly playing more when I'm tilting/under the influence of drugs. My winnings graph would look pretty crazy as it would be sort of like waves: rise up a little bit, get cocky and move up stakes, then play while tilting/blazed and loose all that I made. I'm gonna try and keep my poker play consistent and not fucking move up stakes when I'm on a heater.

So I have decided that I am going to be playing rush poker 6-max because, due to my extremely large hand sample (400 hands) I obviously am really good at it as I have a 75bb/100 hands win rate. (sarcasm) But I will be trying to play Rush Poker 6-max profitably, because it is basically just a cluster fuck of short-stacking feesh and deep-stacking feesh, who think that, because there are 3 less players than FR, shoving with Q8o is profitable (obviously micros).

I put up a piece of paper on ceiling which says "$1000.00$ 105 days @FTP" because I heard somewhere that viewing your goal and thinking about it can make it much more likely to happen. Of course, making a tausandt greenbacks playing 5NL rush poker is like trying to fuck yourself in the ass, so it's just a goal to provide inspiration as well as motivation.

6-max rush is basically like a 2NL FR nitfest, which is pretty loose rush-poker wise. A lot more fish with under 100bb stacks though, so I plan to color code them red for dead when they shove their pocket 9's on a 24Tr board thinking my strong preflop 3-bet and pot sized flop bet is all just a bluff, because, I mean, the odds are 50-50 rite? yu eider win or u loos ror

I do, but I'm trying to have an account name that I'll use both as my Poker username and FTR username, and I like "dudeman" because it's what I adress everyone as.

many poker forum/education sites were targeted last week for username/password theft. I'm not assuming that you're crazy enough to use the same password on a poker site as on a forum but this is still not the safest of ideas.

I think FTR was targeted, theres a warning post in the feedback forum.

I do not use the same password for forums as I do for other types of accounts.

Got 15$ rakeback today for just 3 days worth of rake, and if I play well multi-tabling 6-max rush, I can get assloads of rakeback

So a lot has happened recently.

Last night I won a donkament and came 5/114 for 30$ when buyin was 2$, so my BR is now at almost 100$. I will be moving up to 10NL when I have 15 buy-ins for it, but will not move up to 25$NL until I have like 500$ because I've been playing 5NL for quite a while now.

I did some rakeback calculations, and I has some pretty nais return just from 2-tabling 5NL rush:
Playing 2 tables of 5NL Rush will get me round 1.15$ of rakeback per hour(27%). I play an average of 3 hours a day, so that's 3.45$ a day. My RB is made during 6 days of the week (for some reason) so I make 3.45$ x 6 = 20.7$ weekly rake, which equals 82.8$ monthly, which is not that bad for just rakeback. Playing more tables and moving up stakes would also have a crazy-ass effect on my RB, so chyeah.

I will sooner or later be making a long post with all of my thoughts about 6-max rush. I notice tons of things about it but always forget them, so I'll be keeping my notepad out to write stuff so to remember it.

I apologize for my unbutthurtedness, I'm running pretty well right now. I'm at 120$, and was at 20$ 4 days ago.

well,

I was in the midst of writing a pretty big post this morning. And then I felt this burning feeling in my gooch, and so due to the chaotic fear of the possibility of having a UTI, somehow I just lost all of it. so yeah, lessee do it quick!

SO: was at 150$, went down to 69$, am now at 90$ not incl. rakeback, which is 60$ and will be paid to me in the next two fridays. Fucking butthurt downswing sucked dick, so much bad beats, but I managed to remain stoic enough to not tilt during my sessions, so I'm proud of that. I've taken to 4 tabling now, and as long as I break even I'll be shoving dollars up my ass just out of pure joy in the (near?) future.
