Larry yo' dad!
2. 50cents?
father-in-law (you're larry's son's wife) unless I misread.
50 cents
dunno, you'd probably get high and loot shit and be too busy to play much poker.
sister. it totally works
For the Larry Riddle...you are a man.
father in law if your a woman or dad if your a man
The answer to all three questions is 50 Cent.
1. depends on whether or not we're in the Southeastern US.
2. fiddy cent
3. is the govt being shut down thing supposed to be a red herring? i don't see how it's relevant
You are larrys son
28c
0 hands cause you didn't pay your electric bill
You are Larries Son
27.77c
FR or 6m?
Since all of the above have already been solved (by me) and/or require further information:
What is the smallest straight that can still be the nut straight?
1. You are Larry's son
If you say it in reverse it's much easier. My son's father is Larry's son
2. 50c
3. No shutdown so we'll never know plus I decided to play golf all week instead of poker anyway
Think 2/6 + 1/6 = 3/6 = 1/2
Guess the riddle is wether 'a third and a half' means 1/3 + 1/2 or 1/3 + (1/3)/2
a third and a half of a third
1/3 + (1/2)(1/3)=1/3+1/6=1/2
If eggs are 12 cents a dozen, how many eggs can I get for a dollar?
If it takes a day and a half to build a car and a half, how may cars can I build in 7 days?
96 eggs
7 cars
How much dirt is in a hole 3.5 ft wide, 3.5 ft deep, and 2.5 ft long?
100 eggs but if you have to buy them in a dozen then 96
and no dirt
The number of eggs depends on the tax rate, but @ zero tax on food it's 96.
No dirt in a hole.
Why would you assume you have to buy the eggs in a dozen?
If fat chicks need love too, do they have to pay?
how many fingers am I holding up
none. your fingers are all on the keyboard typing
Me and 3 friends decide to buy new toaster.
We go to the shop, the toaster selling assistant tells us its $30. We all chip in $10 and leave happily with our purchase.
The manager returns and tells the assistant it should have been $25 and to give us back the $5.
He runs after us, but decides to pocket $2 and give us $1 back each.
Everyones happy...
So we've spent $9 each, assistant has $2.......= $29...........wheres the $1 gone from the $30????
Lol,that's a good one but won't give the answer so others can work it out.
hehe, I missed that too
Also, where does your career go after Toaster Selling Assistant? I assume Toaster Sales Manager. And then what?
There's so much here...
Yeah, originally its 3 guys at a hotel, charged $30, manager catches that they should have only been charged 25. They give back $1 to each guy and keep 2. Each guy paid $9 (for $27) plus the $2 that was kept looks like $1 missing.
Nothing is missing because the $25 for the room + $3 that was given back + $2 that was kept = $30.
^ someone told me this hotel room problem once not as a riddle but as a genuinely sincere example of how math doesn't always work.
I understand that there really isn't anything missing but can someone explain it a little more :( ? As in why the "They give back $1 to each guy and keep 2. Each guy paid $9 (for $27) plus the $2 that was kept looks like $1 missing" can happen? Yessir I suck at math.
i've come to the conclusion that there's 36% sales tax or the cashier made a mistake
The room cost $25- bell boy has $2 = 27 total ($9 each person)
the misconception is to add the $2 to the 9ea paid and get 29, when you subtract it because the $2 came from the paid amount
me and 2 friends wanted a toaster. Fuck that other guy. Never liked him.

Now you had to bring out the friggin graph... you can make anyone believe anything with a graph... even global warming.
this thread seriously hurt my head
the toaster/hotel one is bullshit...ive spent hours reading about it on the internet, theres still a missing dollar in my opinion :-D
One final riddle:
How long does it take to lose your entire bankroll without playing a single hand?
As long as it takes you to lose it over multiple hands?
