AA/KK ???

Hello all,

I am sure this question might have been asked alot, but I am not really sure if I m playing this correctly. This isn't hand specific, but more general information about playing AA or KK.

Say you are early or mid position and were dealt AA or KK. My plan of attack has always been to raise (4 - 6x) with these, because I've been beaten many many times straight calling and others catching lucky flops. If 2 others join the action, do I continuation bet the flop? Or should I slow play? Obviously the flop will dictate that answer, so I guess there are 2 scenarios:

1) Very drawy board (2 of the same suit / 2 connectors) - Cont'd Bet? Or Check/Call Then Check/Raise Turn?

2) Not Drawy Board (Rainbow flop with disconnected cards) - Cont'd Bet? Or Check/Call Then Check/Raise Turn?

1 Last question. Would being in late position change this scenario?

How about you post a few hands where you raise and see a flop and are confused. That's the best way to learn.

All hands and opponents are different and trying to make generic rules, especially after the flop, is not going to work. When you post specific hands, do not forget to include reads on your opponents and the range you put them on.
