$4 rush, AK in 3-bet pot line check

no reads cuz it's rush

flop -- I know bet is way small but I think his preflop flatting range is mostly medium pairs, some broadways and AX. not too worried about flush draw because the Kc and Ac are out. He can call this flop bet with a pretty wide range and we get value from KQ/KJ.

thoughts on turn? Pot controlling OK here? Q is a nasty card I think, the J and Q on board are better for his range (JJ, AJ, AQ, QJ) than mine.

river: his turn and river checks pretty much restrict his range to a weak one-pair holding, Ax, KQ/KJ/QJ. My line looks so weak there's no way he'll fold any ace and may level himself into calling with Qx/Jx (may think my river shoving range is bigger than it is)

i like line, except like you said bigger flop bet, then river wouldn't be an over bet.

River would be too thin vs decent players I think, but hey its a $4 and he has a huge stack that won't be hurt by making a herocall

I like the idea to make a small cbet, but it would have been less awkward if you went something like 350/700/jam. On more coordinated boards just go 800/jam

Bet Sizing
The 3b pre is way too much (4x =?). I like this size for exploiting deep stack loose calling opponents with QQ+. I think 2-2.5x (2x =!?) is much better.

Flop CB is wayy too small. With a strong hand vs. vill who may float a bunch of A, J GS or FD, make a BIG MF CBET AND EXPLOIT HIS ASS. Close to pot.

Checking back flop is !, it disguises your hand looking like you've given up with a pp, taking a free one with a GS, FD+BDGS, or checking back a J. This allows you to value own his turn stabs/light value bets more frequently.

Overbet shoving river ?? This makes your range look so polarized, and unless you have the image of Isildur1 you aren't going to get paid off here, EVER by a worse hand. I see him paying off only sets. Maybe 2p if he is a fish.
If I have a set here maybe I call cos 99 A9? or Q9? maybe ship. Only a Hardballer would try bluff of marginal hands in your spot (what you're trying to rep, a sick overbet bluff).

3B
I think flat-calling is better than 3B.
His range is wide, you can cool his Ax/Kx & you will be more disguised. 3B you will fold a lot of hands except maybe AQ and KQs, unless you do it 2x or smallish, or have an image.

You have more maneuverability/options post flop.

There are no meta/image gains for 3b (i.e. rush).

3b min risks 10% of your stack, a fair few chips at this stage in the tournament. Flat calling leaves you more chips to use accurately post flop, and for more profitable spots in the tournament.

Checking Back Turn
I think you need to value bet the turn small (as played) and maybe check back river, maybe value bet?!. I don't think he will float flop and bluff or thin value Ax crai turn often at all (so we can fold).
2 small bets flop and turn may induce some good/sicko players, but it is a difficult bluff to execute. The Q looks like a maybe card to fire a 2nd barrell into, and for such a small bet on the flop whatever he calls with may hang on for another street.
