$2NL KK vs lots of PF action, Q-high flop

Villain was running 36/18/20 vpip/pfr/3-bet over 11 hands, so not a great sample.

When he 3-bets, I'm putting him on something like TT+, AJs+, AQo+ (is this reasonable? I haven't done much of this)

When he just calls my 4-bet, I'm thinking it can only be QQ+, maybe AKs or JJ, weighted towards QQ, since KK is unlikely and AA would probably shove.

What's my action on the flop? Since I put him on a range that crushes me, do I just sigh and c/f?

u got more than half ur stack invested preflop , i don't really understand why you post this hand. Qhi flop pretty dry, ok so AA and QQ beats you , why would he coldcall a big 4 bet with QQ pre ? don't think he'll be setmining.. if he as AA he has AA it's rpetty natural the money goes in after all that action pre on this board. could definately see him show up with TT JJ AQo .

no way is this ever a fold in a 4 bet pot. btw if u 4 bet KK and then u feel bad shoving this board for ur remaining half of ur stack then why the hell did u 4 bet preflop anyway

edit : indeed he could show up with AKs as well , awsome , i wouldn't discard kqs , or kq as well so ur beating plenty of hands anyways

With less than a psb behind I'm never folding now. Since the pot's about $4.8 and you have only like $2.7 behind, there's no need to be tricky. Just stick it in.

I have empty space on my desktop so I can look back though HH's really quick for clues in situations I'm not sure about, as well as gain some more reads while I'm waiting for some action.

So he's known to setmine OOP vs an UTG+1 3bet with kinda crappy odds. Combine that with the stats you gave that shows he's overactive so far.

I'm just going to assume he's a bad player and feel great about getting it in.

Thanks for the input, I ended up shoving on the flop and immediately hating myself because I only put him on QQ+, which means he's for sure beating me, but looking back at the hand before I guess I should have felt better about getting it in.

I am also getting it in without second thought. The more interesting question is how. Say you have him on AK,QQ+. If you bet on the flop, you give him the chance to make no mistake at all by folding all his AK's and calling with QQ+, so he plays perfectly, makes no mistake and you do not profit.

If you check though, given his stats and reckless calling of a 3b OOP with 77, there is all chances that he will bluff his AK's.

I agree with the c/c, give him a chance to bluff the air in his range. If the turn's a blank then lead out for a psb and re-evaluate after his actions. Maybe even a c/r on the flop to take it down now or still get it all in on the turn/river?

I meant c/c assuming that his bet will put us all in. If not, c/r obv.

Also OP, although I am not an expert on the topic, seems to me that your 4b pre could be a little smaller. You should leave some more money behind for a decent flop bet. So if you 4b to $1.9 for example, there will be $3.8 in the pot and you have $2.9 behind for a 3/4 PSB.
