Lots of people say it isn't, some say it is. How does it fare in real small stakes like 2 or 5 NL?

put people on a range. determine how your hand plays against that range. plan hand accordingly.
if villain's range is 55+, AJ+, KQ+ for a given circumstance, clearly your hand does not play well against his range unless you are able to run some sort of +EV bluff.
if villain's range is 22-JJ, Ax, K9+, Q9+, K2s+, Q2s+, and villain will call 3 streets with any top pair or better and likely play passively and commit too much money with hands like draws and second pair, then it barely takes half a brain to play your hand profitably.
etc.
KQ is an awesome hand! it is almost as good as AK, or even AQ

Too general of a question. Post some hands.
