Thank you everyone!
So I'm brand new here but I've played online on and off for years and a little in real life too. I finally figured it was time to brush up my skills, read some books and look at information online and flopturnriver has been an awesome resource so far!
After reading through dozens of threads (and especially big thanks to soupie's MTT tips thread) I've finally managed to bust out in the last third of the field in a MTT and feel good about it! :) I know I played my best (maybe not *the* best, but my best) and I can't do anything after I get my stack all in with AA vs JJ.
So basically, I hope I've posted in the right spot, and also that I can eventually contribute here, and a big thanks for having the site and great contributors helping out a "new" player like myself.

Reading through the beginner's forum links, thank you :)
Penneywize - it's not quite a 1st to take credit for but I hit 7th out of 507 earlier this evening in a $2 buy in MTT which I'm crediting mostly to having been reading here :)
I don't want to appear dense, but what makes those posts obsolete? A lot of it seemed to resonate with my thinking but I don't want to head off on the wrong path.
Thanks!
