2nl bad play or bad play at any stakes?

MP2 is 29/14 with AFq 67 over 17 hands... seen him 2 barrel with air, draws and 3rd board pair....

i really dont give him any credit....

his pre raise range is 22+ ,any suited cards, any Ax

UTG is a passive fish but gets verry agressive when hits. his stats 67/0 AFq 34 over 100 hands plays about any 2 cards

how wrong was this line for 2nl? how about medium or high stakes?

I would have probably folded PF.

But, I don't like the flop call, I'd rather raise. IMO it's not a great flop to CBet, therefore it's a reasonable flop to raise a CBet on. If he has an over pair or set and shoves or re-raises and you can exit gracefully. Or if he calls, you can shut down if unimproved.

I've taken hands like that too far and lost too much. I try not to do that anymore. It's better just to find a better spot.

Preflop is fine -- definitely don't fold AQ here.

You have showdown value against this villain's range postflop, so I would just call his turn bet -- no need to turn your hand into a bluff. You could even just treat your two overcards as a weak draw and call his weak bet. You're getting 5:1 pot odds on the turn and you only need about 7.5:1 to try to hit a pair.

If you're going to try to steal from the PFR, do it on the flop. Your bluff will be cheaper (because the pot is smaller) and you're more likely to represent a strong hand against a villain like this. If he calls your raise, I'd just give up (and really hope that you can check back the next two streets so you can see if he calls raises light).

Don't bother trying to run big bluffs on unknowns; you'll lose too often and you'll tilt really hard when you run into the guy that calls your all-in with something dumb like 87.

if you raise the flop you are merging with equity beyond praying for a fold....

reraising flop wouldnt that be more like a bluff then a reraise on turn? usually turn reraises are sets or big overpairs.... that why i reraised turn to give him that impression plus this is my line bet for sets.
