Problem Hands
I have the same basic question with 2 different hands. A-Q and J-J. The typical scenario is you open from middle position in a micro 6-max game and get 3 bet from the button. For this purpose assume 100bb stacks and you just sat down (no reads/ranges).
With A-Q i mostly want to muck as I dont like dominated hands out of position, but it seems to nitty to me. Should I be flatting and seeing the flop?
With J-J I mostly want to flat and play it for set value, either check folding, or keeping the pot small. Again I dont know if I should be flatting or just folding?
Any help will be appreciated as this is a common problem scenario.

Depends on who is doing the 3betting. If he is some nit with a 3.5% 3b stat, muck AQ and you can play JJ for set (if his stack is deep) or overpair (assuming AK is in his 3b range on the button).
If he is a maniac with a 20% 3b%, 4b both hands.
Without reads, assume he is tight.

Calling 3-bets to set mine with 100 bb stacks is slightly -EV, not a good idea.
Calling 3-bets oop, period, is a bad idea. Your default should be fold, 4-bet, or jam.
Against normal ranges, just dump AQ and JJ. They are way behind any normal value 3-bet range.

AQ definitely dump and same goes for JJ readless at the micros. You cannot setmine there with 100bb's like the above poster said.
