minimal stats maniac shoves?

I have 58 hands on villain and he's a dumbass. with stats of 41/0 and the notes read:

Given all this I really don't know what the hell to put him on for a range? I literally think if I'm going to pokerstove it I have to use the random button for his range. Then he does this shove shit and I've seen him do it one other time with air.

I'm guess he has two pair here but there is no way you can ever fold.

If he does it with air, like ever that's enough to balance his sets and two pair combos. So relax and call. You have a bankroll for a reason.

It's more that you'll see a whole variety of weak and strong draws aswell as Qx frequently enough to call, not that he's so insane to do this often with complete air.

IMHO,
If villain had built his stack up to 13$ (don't know what his buy in was?) by playing crazy and pulling donk moves,there maybe reason to proceed with caution.
It seem to me that for whatever reason these clowns are willing to build stacks in this manner but are afraid to lose them.Once they pull a few crazy ass moves and suck outs they tend to want to tighten up some as part of there strategy.Even as dumb as this sounds,they know they can't keep hitting one outers.
They also realize that they have put the table on tilt and others will loosen way up trying to take them out.If his past few hands show this to be true, folding preflop,folding to c-bets ect... I would seriously consider slowing down and tighten back up.
Villain feels as though he now has you right where he wants you,and won't normally pull these crazy antics as much as they once where without, what "THEY" perceive as the nuts.
I'm putting him om TP TK,2 PR,trips or A,K D's

i can't call quick enough. even if his range is as tight as {55,JJ,QQ,QT+}, you have ~45%. add in a million flush draws, KT, AT, AK type hands, worse queens he thinks are the nuts, random tilty spew. then call.

interesting note-taking style you have there harley. seems like it would be more effective than what i'm currently doing. but does it get a bit hard to follow? with so many different lines? PS only show like 3 or something before you have to scroll down right? guess it depends on monitor size/screen resolution. hmm

I would take this stack size with a pinch of salt, many 5nl tables at Pokerstars will allow a buy in of $12.50. I only realised this the other day when I bust someone out for a massive pot with kings, had $12.80-odd, and villain immediately reloaded to $12.50, and it confused me for a while.

i would for sure call here, i am not experienced as you are and not so many knowledge but the worst case he is allready on a set or AA.... anything else you are way in front! and by your readings you have all the reasons to continue. i would play that for sure , maybe i am wrong, but i see no reason not to.

RPM I suck at taking notes. I think it was kmind who turned me onto NoteCaddy. It takes the notes for you. You can edit what notes it takes etc. No scrolling for the notes. I really was terrible at taking notes and actually seldom did. Since utilizing Note Caddy I have found myself able to refer to notes and make decisions where as prior I would not have had the information available.

Many of the notes caddy provides are helpful, but as a poker player you need to take notes to get a better understanding of your villains. if the fact that its done for you gets you out of practice doing it yourself you limiting your growth. but, im not 100% sure on my theory. If you can still occasional take good notes by yourself then go for it. If not you might be hurting your growth....

Like unless it talks about bet sizing your missing some quality information. cause some poeple shove with flushes but not sets, ect ect

!luck very valid points although I look at it as the lesser of two evils. Ideally one would take their own notes every time but like I said I am terribad at taking notes. So I figure although not optimum Note Caddy is better than the sparse notes I was taking on my own. I am still able to add as many notes as I please as well.

I looked into NoteCaddy, but I don't think it's worth $50. I can't see it being detrimental to your poker. I'm a bit slack with detailed note taking, mainly because I didn't see the point at 2nl, a tag saying "fish" was usually enough, but at 5nl I think it's time to get a little more serious about it. I think I'd prefer to improve my own note taking rather than purchase a programme to do it for me, but I think these notes that NoteCaddy provide are more than sufficient for the micros, and can be a useful platform for more detailed note taking at the higher stakes.
