How much is profitable?
Please spare me the speeches about variance and natural fluctuations, i understand. OK heres the question, With the assumption that a person plays 30 hours exactly every week. How much do you think that person should be earning at the end of the week on average. +Buy-ins/BB's?
Oh, i guess we would be referring to a cash player who plays... lets just say 4 tables. Im not talking about a new or average player, i mean someone who plays seriously.
-
You have no idea what's involved do you. A new player will probably play break even with bonus's and rakeback if he's lucky depending on BR and stakes.
You play $50NL and up you will be losing, you play $10NL and under you may be winning a couple a week. That's all dependent on what you know about poker and where you are in your understanding of the game.

4 tabling 6max can be something like 300 hands/hour (so 9000/weak) and with winrate 4bb/100, its 3.6BI/weak
- but this is just math, not reality
-
Please I understand poker hella, but let me ask you a basic Question . . . ?
If you asked about a reasonable winrate for a good player at a given level on a given number of tables that would be different
-
it depends..
on the player, the stakes, the edge
but, say 250 hands an hour -> 7500 hands/week
a good winrate is 1 buyin every 1k hands at stakes 50nl and below
anything above 1 buyin every 2k hands at stakes 100nl and above is very respectable
-
4 tabling i think the general winrate would be higher.

Sorry this belongs in the bc.

If you play 30 hours, your expected earnings equals 30 times your expected hourly.
