Bad flop play 5nl at ftp
This is a tough hand from a session I played yesterday at ftp 5 nl. Villian in this hand is 24/17 after 95 hands. I've seen him 3 bet from the blinds a couple times and was thinking his range is fairly wide here. I think the preflop call is ok but my raise on the flop seems horrible push or fold would have been better but I could be wrong.

The result seems like it will be the same if you push, but since you only have 1.33 behind and have to call if he pushes anyway, there's no obvious reason for raising to $3. I don't think it's necessarily shove or fold though. You could also call to see the turn and what he does.

Pre call is pretty bad fwiw

Preflop is pretty bad. I'd still fold and use my calling range as better hands. Maybe open up a tad less if he's raising so much too.
Postflop I don't mind if he really is 3betting you a good amount.

Thanks for the replies after thinking about it I realize that the preflop call is bad even with position better to fold and look for a better spot.
