Stats review 10nl - 160K hands and no improvement. I suck.

A little background first:
I've been playing poker for 10 months now. I started with only 5$ BR which Pokerstars gave to me after registering and no idea about the game whatsoever. But I wanted to make some money so I started reading and trying to learn more than playing in the first few months.

I started in 2NL with 0.8$ BI - hit and running.
When I had 200$ I moved up to 5nl.
Then when I had 1200$ I moved up to 10nl and switched to 6max from FR. This was my turning point. I was happy before this. I've learned a lot about the game since the beginning but since my switch to 10nl 6max, I've been struggling so much I can't tell. I just can't fucking get better. I've seen like 60 hours of video coaching, read this and the other forum every day, I review my hands, I think about the game ... and I can't beat 10NL.
My BR is now 1800$ but I keep playing 10nl because I see no point in moving up if I can't be a winner here.

I'm currently unemployed looking for a job, so I have time and I want to improve to have a little income aside in the future. But I obviously need some help.

I have noticed that my red line its as bad as anyone could imagine. That's gotta be a leak.

how the f can you have turned $5 into $1800 and never played higher than 10nl? and what's more, claim to be a losing player at 10nl?

Because I have played a LOT, and rake is good. 160K hands in 10nl at 1.6bb/100 its not being a winner (I haven't said I'm a loser, I just can't win)

you don't 3bet enough and you only 4bet the nuts

immediately - 3bet more esp. on the button/cbet more/close the gap a tad between PFR and VPIP so it's closer together/steal more

learn to fold postflop

actually learn to bet/fold and stop being so passive

I'm passive by nature. I've been trying to add some aggressiveness to my game with no success. In fact today I played 22/18 5.4% 3bet and ended 8.5 BI down.

How am I not cbetting enough? It fucking never works... and I always hear not to get fancy 2/3 barrelling specially fish which is 75% of the 10nl players (tho I sometimes try it, no success here neither)

Maybe your approach is wrong. You seem to develop a system and then apply it blindly. Do you take notes? How do you think about your sizing? Do you bet the same on a 76Q, with two suites board when you have AQ as you do on a 23Qr board?

Just some thoughts.

just play tight. you can beat up to 50nl playing like 18/15 and slowly widen your game from there. cbetting flops and effective value betting is seriously all you need to win 6bb/100 at 10nl

Oh so you're 50% success rate is a lie? Go on...

Your success rate is good meaning you are picking the right spots but try to find a few more spots. You are probably losing a little value as well as losing a few more bluff spots. But mostly value if you say "it fucking never works". Cbetting can be part of the "you're not bet/folding enough".

Also squeeze more. Look for spots where a reg opens, fish calls and then squeeze them. Usually reg folds, fish calls and we win somehow postflop.

Back at 10NL earlier this year I was playing like 12/10 @ 6max. Like retarded tight but winning 6.5BB/100. Likely a lot of postflop issues. Cbetting, Bet/Folding, Check/Calling, Hero Calling, Drawing with improper odds, Estimating Implied odds badly etc. I dunno. How many tables you play and how many hands per month you usually play?

You are too loose from the BB and too tight from the Button. It seems that you play on automatic pilot instead of each situation.

If you play too many tables, drop down to 4 and see how your game evolves. Playing 12 tables or so in FR is possible, but when it comes to 6 max...it is really difficult.

You're also a bankroll nit. You should have move up way back...there is not a huge difference from NL10 and NL25 (or NL20 in euro sites). It sounds that you're playing just for the rake whereas there is much more value in actually beating the game.

I usually play 10-12 tables. Sometimes more. Way too much. Mainly because of the rake. I'm cutting it down to 6. Last month I played 112K hands, and I didn't play too much because of a big ass downswing.

Next days I'm going to focus on this:
- Call less preflop and 3bet a bit more in position. Something like 18/15 - 5% 3bet
- Steal a bit more (play looser from the button)
- Focus on the right cbet spots and sizes
- Play a bit more aggressive: less calls in general

If you really stick to this then I think you're headed in the right direction for sure. It's easy to tilt or whatever and get away from your gameplan but it's really important to focus. Good luck.
