Flopped flush line check

Villain is pretty loose here at 37/26 over 54 hands. Also been aggressive post flop. I think I need to bet out flop and turn in case he's holding the Ac or Kc. Probably want to bet more on both streets? Do I check and give him an opportunity to bluff the river?

Then if you don't give ranges street by street:
1) you're going to get "spoonitnowed"
2) nobody will give useful answers

Yeah not sure what happened with the hand history didn't notice that. I raised UTG, villain was UTG+1.

Ranges street by street:
- preflop could be calling 20% here
- after flop call could have Ac,Kc,9x,str8 draw, combo draw, better flush, overcards
- after turn call could have Ac,Kc,better flush, combo draw, made str8

Honestly as I played this I didn't feel I needed to put the villain on exact ranges street by street. I'm pretty sure I have the best hand. If he has a better flush all the money is going in and so be it. My thought process was this: likely the only cards that can beat me are Kc or Ac. I need to bet enough not to give him odds to draw to that flush but not so much that he'll go away if he has some kind of hand or a draw.

Sure it's useful to practice always putting your opponent on ranges, but I think there was enough info to go on here to analyze my bet sizing. Probably get spoonitnow'ed for saying so but oh well. :D

This line of thinking is going to lose you money. Without the absolute nuts villain has the ability to improve even tho you're ahead of his range. Thinking about his range on each street allows you to planfor the unexpected. What do you do if he shoves the river? Do you assume he's bluffing or do you narrow his range to a flopped set thats improved to fill up? What if a club came on the river and he shoves? How can you know how much equity you have if you don't have him on a range? Do a quick calling all in calc vs his shoving range and see if you have the odds to call for 100+ BBs with a Q high flush.

Yes, you want him to stay in with his draws but you want it to be a mistake when he does it. Giving him odds allows him to play perfectly and allowing fish to play perfectly makes it your mistake. You're also losing value that you need to make these spots profitable. Somtimes he's gonna have that Ac or Kc or both so extracting max value when your ahead will offset your losses enough to make it proftable.

Concerning the bet sizing, bet more on the flop and on the turn. Passive villains at the micros don't fold draws, especially not flush draws. This bloats the pot with a strong hand. The final pot will be much bigger. Say you bet 80% pot on each street: the pot on the turn becomes $.39, the pot on the river becomes $1.01, instead of $.69

Also try to be consistent with your bet sizes. If you bet small to extract with your strong hands and big with your bluffs or weaker hands, it won't go unnoticed and you become very readable. I like 3/4 pot heads up most of the time for both my c-bets and value bets.

Finally, it is not sufficient to bet just enough to slightly deny drawing odds to your opp. You have to bet more to compensate for reverse implied odds (for example when you loose your stack when he hits a well concealed draw and you don't notice it or you believe it's a bluff but it's not or you think you have the best hand but you don't). 2/3rd to 3/4 pot is a good "default" size heads up, should be more in multiway pots. This is very well documented in Sklansky's book "No limit theory and practice" and in some articles here and on 2+2. Search for "bet sizing" and "reverse implied odds".

Very good point supahaole about being prepared for the unexpected. I guess I would have been in a tough spot if he did shove the river here when the board pairs.
