Hi, I'm looking at outs and sometimes I see 21 and 22. I can't figure out when you would have that many outs.
1) WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM # OF OUTS YOU CAN HAVE?

open ender + FD + 2 overs?
8+9+6= 23 outs lawl
Yea not close, and your math is wrong. OESD and FD and overs are 21. If an opponent has two outs on the flop you have 45 outs in the deck DUCY.
Seriously, it depends on your hand and the opponents.
Oh yeah i counted the straight cards that made the flush again. sorry it's 21
Q :d: J :d: vs 4 :s: 2 :s: on T :d: 9 :d: 4 :c: 9 :h:
Diamonds - 9, improve to a flush
K - 3, improve to a straight
Q - 3, improve to QQ99J
J - 3, improve to JJ99Q
T - 3, improve to TT99Q vs TT994
8 - 3, improve to a straight
24 outs on the turn
:qd::jd: vs :2c::2s: on :td::9d::4c::9h: is slightly better. we lose a diamond but gain 2 fours
eidt: actually the # of diamonds is the same in both, since the 4d gives villain a full house in spoons example
Oh yeah - so only 8 improve to a flush, or have I missed one out?
*Looks*
23 outs is the most I can find

Hi again, Wow, I was thinking that this would have been a clear cut answer. Like a flush draw is 9 OUTS after the flop if you have 2 in your hand and 2 on the board. But, for some reason I'm getting answers from 21 to 25. I know that OUTS depends on your opponents cards. But, what I'm looking for is after the flop and before you know what your opponents cards are. Last week, my friends and I were trying to find out the most OUTS you could have and we had the same problem, everyone had a different answer.
Does anyone agree with "kiwiMark" that it's 25?
Thanks so much!
Yeah I think it's 25. If you can get ahold of the book Ace on the River by Barry Greenstein he goes over this extensively giving examples for every possible number of outs.
In Omaha it's fun to have like two flush draws plus a wrap plus a set or some shit on the turn.
