Does b/f look okay here?

Villain is spewy and fishy looking running 39/21 over 25 hands. I've seen him limp/call 33 utg. Part from that no real reads.

I'm wondering whether I should just c/f the turn instead of b/f. I mean he has stuff like A4 A5 67 etc buy maybe not enough for this bet to actually be +EV, even though I expect him to be stationy. He has more 3s in his range than most villains would here and plenty 2 pair combos with this turn card. Does c/f look better?

Apparently I'm the biggest spewey retard out there but I never even consider c/fing the turn. I think c/c is slightly better than b/f, and those are the only two options I am going to look at.

Some players will raise small here with hands like 7-6, 6-4, 7-5 type hands, so they can see a cheap showdown or set themselves up to bluff on the river. I hate having to bet/fold to those types of hands, and I think that his hands like A-4/A-5 are folding the turn a lot, and his hands like 6-7 and 7-5 are betting the turn a lot if you check.

If he has a hand like 6-5 even you have a decent amount of outs (6 outs for higher two pair, 2 set outs, 4 straight outs, and 4 three's for a split).

My rule of thumb is usually not to fold overpairs against spewtards. I'll always try to find a way to pot control if I'm worried I'm beat.

Think Im playing it the same way as you C-Dawg. Maybe I b/f a little more on the turn.

I'd rather just c/c here and let him try stealing and re-eval river. He probably gets to turn with tons of overcards and stuff, especially all Ax hands.

Yah I should clarify my villain description: I don't have many hands on this guy, nor a read to suggest he will bluff raise this turn here, and I'm not trying to induce a raise. He just looks like a stationy bad fish that plays too many hands and probably isn't a major fan of folding often.

I feel like he can jus peel again with a lot of Ax stuff 67, 1 pair hands and am betting small for value to allow all of his weak hands to continue here. If I had a read that he is spewy enough to raise Ax here on this turn I'd not b/f.

I didn't want him checking back these shitty hands he'll call a small bet with.

Betting the 6 on the turn can induce a lot of bluffs from this type of player because it hits his perceived range really well and he should expect you to have a very polarized betting range here. I mean most one pair hands would probably c/c down in this spot rather than betting. Against a laggy spewy villain these bluffs might come more often. I agree with griff that if i am betting here im probably calling a raise as well. IMO c/cing down in this spot would be best.

I would bet more (3/4 pot) flop and turn and I would def fold to a raise on turn.

What's your river plan if he flats the turn?

C/Fold on river. I dont see any hand that we beat he might want to vbet river with or bluff with.
