I think this would be a working strategy in the micros, the argument being if you run into an overcard flop you cant take it down enough of the time to be profitable?
Like if we consider a usual donk PF calling range (22+ KJo+, A10o+, KJs+, A2s+) to our raise and the boards KJx, or Axx, we cant ever cbet bluff enough to make it a profitable play, because in general 2nl fish call any Kx/Jx, or any weak ace. And thats heads up. Usually the situation is less than that optimal because you're usually against 2 callers in EP/MP. So maybe limping for set / overpair value rather than to try to take it down on 50 % of flops would work?
