Just discovered 6-max

After years of playing purely SNGs, I am now trying ring games, I've generally been playing full tables plus a few heads up games, and last night for the first time I sat down at a few 6-max tables. They are so much more fun than full table games, can't believe I haven't discovered them in all these years.

Lessen to take from this for noobs, try out a bunch of the different types of poker before picking one to spend ages studying, as you're bound to find some more fun than others, and the more you enjoy it the easier it will be to learn.

Also, keep checking back for my next post where I'll be telling you I have been stacked repeatedly at 6-max games and absolutely hate them!

Nice one DanAron. I know what you mean about coming back later and saying how much you will hate this game later. A little work goes a long way. I have learned much from this site in just two weeks. I knew my game wasn't great and now I am not even sure it is good. :lol: But I am taking advantage of the lessons on this forum and it is already helping my game. I will have to check back to see how long before you hate this type of game.
