Is this a bet/fold spot?
http://weaktight.com/1838570
No stats but opponent was solid, fairly tight and usually open raises - never open limps. No bluffs shown down yet.
Preflop I'd be more willing to flat call if I was on the button but oop against someone who is fairly solid 3bet/fold seems better. Also if I just flat overcards will come down quite a bit so I'll have to c/f or c/c the flop and c/f the turn.
Ok so he flat calls - I think his range is {KQ,AJ-AQ,99-QQ} assuming AA,KK and AK 4bet, not sure if he would actually 4bet QQ and flat AK though.
On the flop what should I do? Like maybe just calling preflop is better to stop situations like this.
As played flop is a clear fold right?

Nothing else you can do.
If you call you are putting a lot of your stack in and you still have to play 2 more streets.
Raising accomplishes nothing since better hands are not folding.
Really doubt 77-QQ take this line.
His min-reraise makes me think he is a fish.

If we dont have reason to beleive AJ or like 99 does this then ya its a fold...spr sucks ass though.
Your 3b is huge too imo. btn raised to 6x which is a lil more than average to begin with, and then we 3b to 23x, where if villain calls we have a 48.5bb pot with like 77 behind which is just asking for some gay spots.
Then whether 3b or call. With set odds and actual value calling is easily ok. But 3betting seems to be where we get into alot of shitty spots and see alot of "only better call, only worse fold" scenarios regardless of what flops. Now that same guessing game applies to when we call.....but the difference is that the pot is smaller when we call and so our guesses are smaller mistakes, so it seems to be more preferable. If he floats at all as well, then we're fucked even moer when we 3bet and bet flops so i think calling is def best.
