First thing I question is my open preflop since this guy wasn't calling station(bad) or a nit(good), do I need to get involved?

Assuming I lose every time he calls pre, I need him to fold 70% of the time, of course I can cbet and win the pot sometimes but I'm not sure how often he would fold.

Flop seems good to cbet as I don't think he'll continue without an Ace or good Ten. So he should fold out most small pairs.

Calling range = (Ax,T8s+,KQ,QJ,KJ)

Turn bet for value, should it be larger?

River can I still b/f for value or is c/c better? Would you fold this if he bets ~ pot.

All thoughts especially ones on bet sizing appreciated.

Easy bet/fold on river.. he raises with the few hands that beat but might call with a ton that don't. This is BvB after all. I suspect he has Ax here a lot.

I meant I'd rather open weak hands like this against someone who folds most of the time.

Isn't he going have to fold most of his air and small pairs to my cbet, need him to fold ~ 40% of the time which I think is reasonable.

river is a b/f for me. we still get called by worse hands (Ax) and aren't likely to get bluff raised when we lead on the river. i feel that c/c could miss value when he checks his Ax behind because the board is now scary but would have sighed and "paid you off" for a small river bet

Oh I see what you mean, he folds all the random stuff that we beat and calls with hands that are ahead ( Ax, decent Tx). So the bet doesn't get value nor bluff him off better hands.

Best to fold preflop and c/f the river I guess.

easy b/f on river. villain will only raise better hands and he'll call with almost every worse hand and he likely has many more worse hands than made hands.

flop: every bet doesnt have to be for value. if we had air here we'd bet this every time and since we cant call a bet profitably with a pair of sevens we basically have air.

Preflop is fine if the BB is tight. Flop is fine unless we think we can profitably check/call. We can change our flop play if out in theoryland we don't think he will almost ever bet with a worse hand at any point in the hand, which isn't likely so fuck him I bet. River I probably bet/fold like half-pot or so.
