Two 50NL hands

Hand 1

Villain is 35/13 after about 25 hands, and likes to steal quite a bit in position. I don't really like the turn, but I was getting 2.5:1 on my money, I felt my check behind on the flop looked weak and he had shown an ability to take advantage of weakness, and I thought there was a good chance my A and probably my K were good outs as well as the flush.

On the river I thought he was unlikely to have anything very strong given his line - possibly a missed diamond draw or maybe a weak pair, which I could push him off. Problem is, given my fairly aggro image at this table (27/26 with 5% 3bet) I'm not sure what I'm representing here ... spew?

Villain is 55/0 after 44 hands, and is pretty passive post-flop too. Given that there's a good chance he's slowplayed a pretty good hand here?

-this is pretty bad, you're hand looks EXACTLY like what you have. He's either snap c/c you off here, or you actually have the best hand. Bet serves no purpose really.
-If you wanna turn AK into a bluff to take down the pot, you're better off just tripling, it's more credible at least.

why did you check flop in hand 1?

and 2, if villain is as passive post as you say then you are almost always behind here. ez pz fold I think.

i really don't like hand 1. i personally cbet flop and barrel the 4h turn, but i'm not certain that's best. but i am pretty certain the river bet is bad. you fold out every hand we beat, and he tank/calls w 77.
