A few hands at 10NL

I'm pretty shocking at cash but I'm trying hard to learn. I've read Sklansky and Miller's NLHE TAP a few times and I'm hitting the micro games on Cake.

Play is extremely passive on Cake. If there is a raise PF, there is very seldom a 3-bet. I've limped the odd speculative hand from an EP or MP. Is this ok if no one raises, or there is the odd raise PF?

There are no HUDS on Cake, so I have to remember all the details of the opponents from my memory, so sorry is the reads aren't all there. I know I should jot down the hand # while I play and make some notes. I'm going to do that from now on.

I called the turn since I figured an 8X might play this way. Should I fold the river after he shows significant strength twice?

Ok, first couple of hands again, so no reads yet.

I think this is bad as his range here probably includes a lot of overs that may have missed the flop and it looks like a standard c-bet. I folded since these spots tend to lose me a bunch of chips when the 4th card to a flush comes out or overs hit.

I'm not really sure what to make of the PF betting here. I'm not sure what hand limps PF and then min-reraises after a raise and a call? I'm happy enough to put the other villain on a PP, high SC's or AK/AQ.

I think the villain is often flipping up a set or 2 pair here if I call the turn, no? The betting line if just so weird though.....

The villain here is fairly loose and has a wide limping range from the SB. He has limped every time from this spot. Is giving a free card bad on this flop? I've given him the free card since I think he'll continue to donk off his stack with a J or if he hits the turn. Am I giving him enough rope to hang himself or me?

Ok, this is the first of 3 hands versus the same opponent. He seems a little loose PF, but otherwise ok.

Ok, I've flopped the nuts. I know I want to get as many chips into pot as possible, but the villain just calls the flop bet. His calling range is might be something like QQ-TT,ATs+,K9s+,QTs+,J9s+,ATo+,K9o+,QTo+,J9o+ and hands like 8d7d for the FD. The turn card is terrible and gives two pair hands with a Q a FH, leaving us drawing dead. I am worried about giving a free card to a FD, which forms part of his range, plus I'm worried about giving him implied odds to draw to it. Can anyone give advice on how to calculate what approximate bet size I need to make here to make drawing to a flush -EV? Next, do we actually want to bet the turn? And, after the flush makes it on the river, should I just save my last $3.50?

Ok dont post hands any more without reads you will learn little. Also post 1 hand at a time so people actually respond. Finally these are my fishy thoughts below so take them with a grain of salt if you care to.

Hand 1 Bet more on flop, call is fine on turn IMO, but with no reads its really hard to tell what this is. Easy river fold btw

Hand 2: I raise flop for hand protection. You have an overpair and a fd, but you are scared of any spade or overcard. If villain 3bets instamuck. Reevaluate turn if villain calls.

Hand 3: Make it like $.50 preflop. Bet more on flop. Again its really hard to put him on much with only read as maniac. You need to get postflop reads. Atleast like is he slowplaying here? Depending on maniac I might call 2 streets, but this is QT a lot.

Hand 4: Again man this is completely player dependent. IF from watching his play you think he would c/c a set on this board (terrible IMO btw) then his range is probably a lot of that. Bets this big are generally for value at micros, but it really depends on player.

Hand 5: You need to be folding preflop with ace small because you are dominated a ton. Flop is ok depending on player although generally avoid slowplaying in micros, but I think you have a mandatory turn raise to protect your hand (fold if he 3bs you)

Hand 6: I would raise to $.50 here even though first limper is short. Against any full stack you should be insta-isolating here. You must bet turn on this drawy board imo, ur bet sizing is ok, although I don’t really know what to do in these spots. Shoving is an option, but you may just get called by better so I dunno. Never fold river here though you have sick odds with a straight. This is a moronic bluff/ 2 pair / set queens far more than often enough.

Hand 7: Growing balls should be near the top of your to do list, but you just went nuts in this hand. This guy limped a big pair and is hesitant about getting it in with your set / 2 pair. You overplayed TPTK here really badly, and should have probably called flop raise and looked for cheap showdown.

Hand 8: Always raise here IMO. I don’t play FR, but all that stuff you read about varying your play etc doesn’t apply as much in micros. River is close cause you’re getting great odds, but almost always behind, I’d probably dump it.
