stop posting stats with 7.7k and just play. Experience and studying is all you need.
Play tighter OOP and looser IP (when folded to you).

As played, tighten up in EP and maybe loosen up in LP. I asked you in IRC right now what your steal % was over this sample since I don't see it in the stats, and you said 21%. It should be higher than that, so you might want to read an old post of mine Blind Stealing 101. It has a lot in common with this other post I made around the same time about Raising Behind Limpers.Quote:
<Schya> i need to straighten my ass out.... and for real do some learning
<Schya> and not just fucking play
<Schya> i guess "i didnt need to study to beat 2nl"
<Schya> but apparently im not even good enough for there yet
the fact that you are losing money on the button shows that this is nowhere near a meaningful sample size
If this was a meaningful sample:
You're calling 3bets 54% of the time? Please tell me with what. Get your PFR closer to VPIP. Is 3betting that light at these stakes profitable? Steal a lot more. You can with ATC sometimes given the right conditions. Do you limp behind a lot? Anyways, way too small of a sample but try out some filters I guess.
-23 ptbb/100 over 11k hands is a sufficient sample. Please stop with this "small sample size" nonsense.
quit playing oop.
I guess you could also be really bad. Those are the two options: this sample size is too small or you are just really horrifically awful
Maybe he should be playing FR instead of 6max b/c post flop play is lacking??? i dunnoQuote:

I will agree that having that winrate over 11k (I thought it was 7.7k?) hands means you most likely have leaks though and the sample size, though small, is decent enough.
I think the point is that while some stat-work might help, that loss rate indicates theres probably some pretty bad play going on somewhere. Start posting hands.
Its 7.7k. Hard to make judgements on some stat based numbers, but enough that the winrate is significant.Quote:

Crap I read the wrong number. Wtf is the 11k number anyway?
