question about bad beats

Why do the worst bad beats happen on the river?

It seems that way because you are too emotionally invested into the hand. Beats are beats.

It's actually 50/50. But a ton of times we fold on the turn to the board getting bad or having to fold to his overbet shoves. There are only two streets once we make a hand on the flop so the river just seems to be the bad one more often.

Agree. Most decisions are made on flop. And when we loose on the river we say "bad beat". In most cases if we go back to flop and see what math chances are we will see that it will be something in range: 50/50 - 70/30. So I think that more then not it's just statistic - you must loose 30 times and win 70 times. ( I narrow my opinion to head up play, when more players there will be some differences ).

Pokertracker in recent version has a great graph. It's Expected Value - All In Performance graph. What is so good about it is that it shows you how you would fare if you did not crack someone's aces through pure luck (with KK for example or even worse AK), or vice versa.

This graph is always a good help to me to remind myself that I did crack aces with TT, that I did get my share of "good beats" as well as bad beats. It's good for mental stability :).

Becasue online poker is rigged.

Because that is a bad beat.It is not so bad when you loose your hand against someone who get his full house on the river.It is bad when you lose against calling station who got nothing on the flop but keep calling until the river.
And it is bad when you got AA and lose all in against some crap hand.I wonder how much money has lost player who call all in with crap hand until he win first time against AA.
I have try for a few times but never had won

A few times is quite a small sample size, try calling a bit more and you'll be a profitable aces cracker for sure!
