the reason I said your thread title sucks is that you're supposed to say you're 150BB deep which is why your sizing kind of sucks

if he's calling with a pocket pair at least make it so he's not getting 20 to 1 to flop his set

yeah i should've mentioned the 150 bb is why i recommended the larger pf raise.

you showed strength the entire hand and he's minraising the turn. hard for this not to be value from villain, unless he's terrible and making some desperate bluffs in 3b pots.

Or you could even 3b to 3x and do it more often (with weaker hands on average) when you're IP
it's really hard to adjust to
most people will throw out a random 4b bluff but you're still going to profit

and do it like 3.5x-4x OOP and with stronger hands on average

besides raising a touch larger pre, should he not also be betting larger on this flop given the texture?

pretty much this. looking over the HH, i kept wondering how i shoved over, but in the heat of the moment i was fairly certain given the timing and whatnot or something that something was up.

i shoved over and he snap mucked... so ya, just pretty terrible.

I would just call and try to call a river to see if he'll try to rep the nuts

If the turn comes an offusit ten would you have been more inclined to call his c/r vs shove over it or would you just consider folding at that point?
