Ok, I'm going to jump in...

The first thing you will probably hear from all of the regs... what is your read on the villian? Second thing... what does betting get you? Why would you bet or why would you not bet? Would betting get a better hand to fold? Or would it chase off a worse hand? Same question on the turn...

IMO... played it ok. You missed the flop, so did he. He bet the turn, but poorly, or is trying to get you to stay in. Depending on read of CO, might have raised his turn bet, might have bet the flop... without a read you are getting roughly 4 to 1 on the turn... with 6 outs... I think a fold is appropriate...

But, the regs can tell you better, I'm a reg, but I'm a casual player.

I'm not understanding your post.

I meant, that means, I shouldn't be on FTR and read materials to learn while I play at the same time, because, I have to keep my focus on the villans.

By reads they aren't talking about what your doing while you play poker, they are talking about your reads on the villian. What have you learned about the villian that will help you with your decisions.

yes. when you are playing poker, that's all you want to be doing. when you are studying and working on your game, that's all you want to be doing.

Especially low stakes are not so tough to beat if u are concentrated.Once i quit watching all the videos on pokertube :D while playing i noticed that my bankroll started to increase and that i was playing a better overall game.

Checking back the flop is fine, although its not a bad flop to cbet.

If you had a read it would be more helpful but assuming they are at best an average player the non raise pre flop would eliminated AA, KK, QQ AKs, AK and probably AQs, JJ, AJs. That leaves only mid to low PP's, hands like KQ and lower suited connectors.

That being said, low PP probably wouldn't fold for two reasons:
1. with that board you probably missed the flop
2. they have at least a pair and a straight draw, possibly 2 pair or trips

small suited connectors might stick around especially if the hit 2 pair or the straight draw depending on how much of a donk they are.

If any of these situation are true that could get you into a lot of trouble if you try to double barrell or improve you hand with an "out" that was never really an out.

Checking the flop is fine because it hits a limp/calling range really hard, and you're not folding out better hands. - A high is going to be the best hand a lot.
If an overcard comes on the turn, and he checks again, you can credibly represent that you've hit it.

You don't represent much by raising the turn - what do you check the flop, raise the turn with? - But raising is still fine against a lot of opponents, because they rarely have better than a pair of 5's, and they just don't think about your hand at all.

You could call and take it to showdown, or you could call and raise a small river bet, or bet if he checks.

But it all depends on reads. If you see someone betting an awkward amount, you should always make a note whether the hand goes to showdown, or they fold to a raise, or if they shove the river or whatever.

those are among my most common player notes. So common that I will just raise over those bets until proven otherwise... or if their stats indicate that their range has very likely hit something, or if raising doesn't make sense with the hand I have blah blah...

You could go on forever just about that spot without reads because just the flop texture and bet sizes aren't nearly enough information.
