We didn't have a big 3bet history so I opted to flat pre figuring him to take a 3b more seriously than I wanted him to here.

On the flop his bet-sizing just said "I didn't hit that flop" to me so I called again with position, not being overly worried about FDs. The turn I'm hoping he hit a K and figured I have to start setting up playing for stacks on the river. If he's barreling a scare card then he's probably not firing river again with air anyway.

How'd I do?

nh, i don't like raising EP cbets when i'm actually strong since players seem to really give that raise credit for a strong hand. so i like flatting the flop, especially if you believe he is weak. turn raise should be a bigger to like 76 so the river shove is closer to 2/3pot than a full PSB.

Meh I like to raise flops like this a lot because a lot of times they'll misinterpret my range and think I can have FDs when I rarely do.

its often harder to build a nice pot if you dont start pumping til the turn. a lot of people are still very scared of flat flop, re-raise turn i think and most people don't do this as a bluff at these stakes.

it looks like the type of flop that doesnt hit THAT many really strong hands, it often hits draws though and if you raise flops with draws its great to do it with monsters too. I see people stacking off on these flops with over pairs all the time.

Is he really 3-barreling that wide of a range?

I like hero's line. We need to go for value at some point and balance our re-steal lines. Also, busto flush draws are putting in at most a river bluff anyway.

I have a high fold to 3 barrel, so I need to balance my two street calling ranges vs. regs that I play against

This stat doesn't really make sense on its own.. cause a player that folds like 80% of flop bets will have at least an 80% fold to 3barrel stat.

I just show fold to flop cbet/turn cbet/river cbet separately.

Certain players have like 30% fold to flop/turn cbets but 80% fold to river cbets. Triple Barrel Central!

Not true, if we played 100 postflop hands, and I called on the flop 10 times (so 90% fold to flop) and then continued to call on turn and river in those ten occasions the stat should look more like 90% fold flop and 0% fold turn/river :)

At least I think it does.

Yeah, HEM has 'fold to cbet' on each street stat.

This looks exactly like the line you're supposed to take with a set, which every reg in the world knows so its pretty transparent imo. Fairly sure that was Rentons point although I dont know the exact theorem he mentions.

I do this sometimes, but on any kind of wet flop I tend to just raise flop and let them think I'm drawing, and on dry flops I generally call 2 then stick it in on the river.
