I mostly play online but I like to get to the casino when I can. The games are usually cray and loose. You raise the standard 4 times and over half the table calls. It is like this almost every hand. Does anyone have any type of advise on beating these crazy games.
I have these games tight and I think you have to loosen up. :?
thresholds man. if the whole table loves to call a 4x bet, will they also like to call a 5x, 6x, 7x,.......allin? one of these bets is enough to still get calls from weaker hands but make the players consider folding. and tagg works perfect against a bunch (huge, godawful amount) of loose/passives.

I play $1/$2 on a semi regular basis at my local casino.
I often find a table with regular raises to $12 and have 4 or more callers.
I just settle into playing really tight. Watch your opponents. You will be surprised how many will instantly bet out when they hit top pair (kicker is irrelevant to them) regardless of the preflop action. Holding JJ in LP and the flop is T high? guarantee he has the T and will keep betting into you.
I have noticed if the average raise PF is $12 (which is common at 1/2) then a raise to $15 (fif you're the first raiser)instead usually works as an isolation raise for 1 or maybe 2 callers instead of half the table. If you play really tight, generally that will take it for you.
One tip.. If you have a big PP and the flop is A high and someone is calling you on the flop.. YOU'RE BEAT!
I watch so many people go broke not giving up on JJ QQ KK to an A high flop and then grumble at it.
When people are raising hard and loosely and the table is calling just settle into a tight gameplan. If you have QQ or AK and in LP and someone has raised and a bunch have called. Don't be afraid to reraise it to like $30-$35, that will usually take it or get you the originally raiser only.
I played a game a couple of nights ago with a guy who straddled $12 everytime he was UTG. I was two to his left and playing REALLY tightly. I was dealt AQs on one of these straddles, re popped him to $25, he called and then check folded the flop straight away (I simply reached for my chips, hadn't even touched them before he mucked)
Trust me, stay tight and you will hit your hand eventually for a big pot. But don't try to create a spot with bad cards to try and get yourself in the game and DEFINATELY do not try to get fancy and outplay your opponents. They have no clue. Keep bluffing to an absolute minimum. IN fact, I never bluff. I will C bet in position but I won't run a bluff. AT this level it is just not worth it.

Players at $1/$2 don't go to the casino to fold.
Adjust to your table.. stick to the ABCs and you'll crush it.
In all honesty, become a nit. Only go into a pot with the best of it. People won't even notice you haven't been playing cards. 1/2 is easy because most of the players aren't even paying attention to how you're playing. See a cheap flop, catch a flop, and dominate.
ABC poker style will take money back home. If you spot some big donators at your local casino, then just sit to their left and value town fish to death. Also, your big pot multi-street bluff frequency should be relatively low in these zero-level thinking 1/2 games. Last but not the least, NEVER BERATE BAD PLAYERS WHEN THEY SUCK OUT ON YOU.

If you can handle the swings, this type of game will be much more profitable in the long run than a tight aggressive game.
Extracting the maximum value out of your made hands becomes even more important. In a loose game like this, you have to make the hands you win count to make up for the times when the inevitable suck out happens.
Likewise, you have to be sure you are prepared for the ridiculous hands that going to drag some monster pots and not have it tilt you. Away from the table, it easy to remember that you WANT players to cold call big raises with J5 suited because “it is there lucky hand,” or whatever. But when they stack you with it, you have to keep your cool and get them the next time rather than succumbing to the temptation to push too hard.
Hey welcome to typical live 200NL or 400 NL play, usually you will see this constant calling a 4 bet on the weekends when the wife & hubby wanna play poker for a evening. Most of them dont understand what a 4 bet represents, worse yet... with so many callers, it gives great odds for a worse hand to call and before you know it your AA is dominated. I tend to flip back and forth from Super TAG to LAG on these type of nights, specailly when you have a lot of callers and you have suited connectors and small pockets, with such a loose table thats where you can make going to make $$. Play TAG at first see what the donkeys are holding... dont be suprised to take a bad beat sukout, they are going to happen....afterwards after smooth calling with the best hand, the table will tend to pay attention to your plays..
