Feedback on AA hand (100nl)

Did I just overthink things here? I try to get the lagrotard to call/shove pf by just flatting, but meh, can I ever look weak even to a retard when I call a 4-bet for over 1/3 of my stack? Postflop also seems like an awkward spot between having a monster and how to get value. I dont think he ever has a draw on flop, but could now have on turn.

When someone is showing a lot of strength pre and you have AA/KK, don't get fancy, just get it in. People will get it in with worse when they might not if they see a flop.

Preflop is so pointless and counterproductive.

in b4 he folds QQ/KK that he'd play for stacks pre

you have an overaggro Button doing what he does best and a passive fish cold 4betting an UTG raise and you want to cold call here? there is nothing to do but jam. buttons probably not coming along with much, but BB is NEVER folding here where as he might postflop if he has QQ/KK and an A or K flops.

If I played preflop/flop like that I'd go ahead and call the turn too, to keep things consistent. It just seems like the right thing to do.

post-flop does not matter
you have to make two bets
put them in at any street you want

he only has to make one bet if he wants to post-flop, its not even pot-sized

I guess it's not played terribly post-flop, we have a set, but man would it suck to know that you gave a free card and got burned.

The chances of this guy having a draw is pretty tiny, I cant see him cold 4-betting anything other than maybe AKs, and you'd think he'd bet that. I'm not even that sure he'd 4-bet that passive as he was. So I think he's more likely got KK or maybe QQ unless he's randomnly spazzed out. My thinking is he could have picked up the draw now with K:d: or Q:d: and call the shove, but unlikely to get carried away on the river unless he hits. I'm obviously happing getting ai, question is when/how its most likely.

Ok, thanks guys. I know I butchered this pre, it was one of those quick decisions I didnt really think about when I should have.

Villain had K:d:Kx and snap called my turn shove and I held so was all good, just wasnt real sure if he'd have called me on flop or not.

Man, I only had 3 or 4 tables running and still made quick unthought through decisions :p

well I probably 4b in spots where flatting is better because I 4b AK/QQ+ instantly without thinking
But I've been making an effort to flat big hands sometimes
So far flatting aces turned out pretty good and flatting AK turned out pretty shit

I'm going to have to admit: this wasn't the greatest hand I ever played
