I would only call if he's capable of having anything less than a flush here

i feel nethin can be had here from TPTK with the A of spades to a str8 flush draw to an over pair
idk many people who shove the flop with a made flush unless its low cards like 56s or 34s

I would call here. like shyguy, I'm thinking that he's not shoving with a made flush in this spot. Plus, even if he has the flush, you've still got outs.

I don't see why he would lead if he did in fact have the flush right off the bat, seems like a check to me. Doing that little lead makes me believe he has the nut flush draw...

Maybe the reraise could have been a bit more...

if he has the nut flush draw he's more likely to check than if he has 5s6s

DUCY?

1/ Yes he will lead with a made flush in a 5 way pot with 58/15 stats.
2/ We have 7-10 outs here depending on the turn card, there's nowhere near enough dead money to make this a call.
3/ iopq got it in one, unless he's capable of doing this without the flush it's a fold.
4/ What you have there is a set, not trips. Trips = 2 on board, 1 in hand and set = 1 on board, 2 in hand.

do you know many people w 58/15 stats? this guy's probably seen so many flops that he's sick of missing and c/f so when he finally gets the nuts he's goin' all in. or maybe he's one of those idiots who always plays his hands to their opposite strength: bluffing with air and slow playing the goods. without any reads we can't assume this, or anything else for that matter on a player with tard stats

ps: i notice you only put suited connectors in his lower flushing range for a player who plays 58%...

What where you trying to accomplish with the flop raise? I think you have to ask yourself, do you want to be committed here? If not, just call his dollar bet and move on to the turn and keep the pot small.
If you where going to raise you should of been ready for his actions with a plan. If he folds, good, I win. If he calls, thats ok also, I guess, but I'm kinda committed. What if he re-raises me back? Do I want him to re-raise me back? I don't think you do, I'd just call and use pot control.
As played I'm folding, I'm not risking my stack on a 58/15 player who limped and easily could have any two spades. There are better hands to take this guys money.

Sorry surviva316, maybe I'm not explaining myself well. I always thought you should make a commitment decision as early as possible. Subject to change with more intel when your putting 10% plus of your stack in the pot, 12.5% to be extact, but I'm estimating. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Commitment threshold is when the pot is around 1/4 of remaining short stack money. In this case a little less than 6 dollars. By making the 2.90 cent bet he will be crossing or on the verge of this threshold.

I mean Hero could put in a huuuuuuuudge re-raise so that if villain does shove he's getting 2-1 on his call turning this into a snap call
but the raise would be so large, we'd polarize our villains raize, and we'd only be snapcalling when we are behind, and our opponent would always be folding with worse hands that had some value... I think.

you can just call the flop and the turn and find out if you suck out on him without having to put in your entire stack
say the turn is a 3
the pot is only 3.45, he bets $3
you raise to $9
he calls, pot is $21.45
river is a blank
you shove, he tanks and calls

now say the turn and the river are both blanks
you spend $4 going to the river
