37/32
def open up more
sometimes i run 22/14 on full ring
6max i can run anywhere from 28/16 to 38/25
...
..
well... low 20's isn't exactly nitty... I mean you don't gotta play LAG to win in 6max
lots of different styles, I'm kinda like 25/20 myself, but normally when I play, some tables are like 47/38 whilst others are 17/16.
you can rape 100nl and under playing like 16/12 but you need to be playing the correct 16 and the correct 12 from the proper positions.
Anything over 25/20 is overkill imo and you have to be a very good hand reader and seat selector to get away with playing such a wide range.
...
If I said 70/50 was a good VPIP/PFR would you do it without asking? Srsly dude, play what you feel comfortable with. Start with tight aggro and start to include more hands in better positions as your game gets better, depending on your opponents. Right?
For example, if you have a super tag to your left, you can steal blinds from this guy lots, increasing your VPIP/PFR, however if he's a calling station you won't be doing that. Your range should change depending on the conditions of the game.
I'm playing $2nl so can profitably play 12/10 without any variation and rake in 20bb/100 over 13k hands, i'm guessing as you go higher playing like that is not going to be as effective ;). I still steal from really tight players though, you see some of them with stats like 10/4, heh.

Hi spenda ;)
Oh and what Spenda said.
I'd play whatever you feel is the best but if you aren't profitting then I'd go nit it up/lagshit crazy depending on what you think you need to work on.
im just asking what like if you mastered 6-max 25NL what would be your VPIP/PFR and i know it changes table to table but there is obviously a average. Btw NOT bragging plz dont misunderstand but I am doing very well in 25NL im not a beginning player I think im quite a bit above average I plan on making my living player poker. So these open more if your players on your left are tight comments dont really help thanks! :) just a simble question which i thought got ansered but i guess spenda was joking dunno yet haha im awaiting master spenda!
There IS no exact right answer, which it would seem you would know if you're "way above average" at 25nl. I'm not trying to hate, just telling you you don't seem to put tons of thought into your questions/replies in this thread, so spenda cracked a joke, then gave a VERY helpful response.
If you wanna stay at FTR and really improve, try posting some HH's. You'll get awesome feedback on, like spenda pointed out, if you're playing RIGHT hands in the RIGHT positions, regardless of HUD stats after 60 hands. Every HH I post here helps me locate and plugs leaks.
As Robb said, there isn't really a right answer here. As you become better you can play more hands at lower stakes profittably, but if you are asking this question you are probably not at this level.
I play .50nl 6-max and I play about 23/17. I really wouldn't reccomend playing looser than this when you're just starting out as you will get yourself into too many marginal and tricky situations.
well i havent posted any hand histories because 90% of the time i already know the right move. everytime i lose its cuzz i deserved to haha its much different when your actually in the hand. Once im about to post a HH im like i already know that answer ya know haha.
Ok thanks guys just wanted to see if i needed to change anything i guess not.lol got my answer thow i always play at 25/20 or lower just like spenda said so i guess i got it down thanks!
Is this a joke? I don't think that even the best players on this forum would say what you just said.Quote:

ill look for some HH :)
u should prolly be focussin on ur tables 100%, rather than playing poker AND doin other things like visint forums
learn to control ur tilt, if you tilt maybe u should just quit poker or give yourself a big break? I mean why would you tilt? The best poker players make money because they make the right deicisions and don't care about results. They love the game, do you?
also to answer the original question... There really isn't any correct answer to "what is the best VPIP/PFR?"
So much ego... So little profits... IMO of course.
To be fair, I don't think t-rex was saying he knows all the right moves.. he just knows when he made an obvious dumb one. But he should post any hands where he didn't know how to proceed, that's the only way to get better.
And remember man, 100% of your plays are probably bad right now.. if you get up to where only 50% of them are, you might be the best in the world :p
i dont have a ego i love how all the hardcore forum guys love to hate on people lolQuote:

Something I've learned just in the past week is that people place too much emphasis on having "standard" preflop stats. If you're willing to try a unique style, you can make it work. Some preflop stats require different types of postflop skills; recognize this and be proficient in the varying styles.
T-Rex, no ones being an asshole here, but when you come onto a forum asking for advice about something that is kind of hard to give advice on, and then post replies saying how you know all your mistakes, and how your playing so many tables at once since your above average so you cant explain yourself well... thennn it kinda makes you look like a douche that no one really wants to help
if u ask for advice, then take it.
dont ask for advice if ur not willing to accept other peoples replies
k this post is now 100% pointless only being used for peoples come back come on guys...k post closed no one respond
and yes u guys were right stupid as hella post
