Villain was 26/12/0.7 no reads but the flop and turn checks were slow and the river check was fast

Should I have bet the flop? Turn I'm just betting for value. Is b/f river even though we hit bad?

It's a relatively small pot and I call river here sometimes expecting to split a decent amount and to occasionally see dumb bluffs and also to lose sometimes. Your also getting 3:1.
