Having trouble knowing when to slow down on the turn

Villain is 22/2 over 250+ hands.

I find myself having trouble with these spots quite often. I don't want to give him a free card because of all the draws, but I don't want to bet into a K either.

I don't think your worried about any draw other than the flush, and because it will put you on a tough decision on whether to barrell a blank turn or not if villain calls your flop bet, I think a delayed c-bet may be a good choice of play here. Of course if the flush completes on the turn and its checked to you, you can bluff at it. If any other brick comes off on the turn you could bet for value against draws and other mid-pair type hands that may not put you on a king.

If villain is as passive as his PFR suggests I like betting the flop, we can get value from plenty worse hands before anymore scare cards fall. Now check behind turn to pot control and induce bluffs and call river or value bet if checked to imo.

I'm checking behind on the turn for pot control. If he has a flush draw, meh. He's not peeling an ace without hitting something else since the 3 came on the turn. Flush draw is in his range, but it's not even like half of the hands that he could have.

Can you elaborate on checking for pot control? I mean should you really check solely for pot control? It seems to me that many of the hands that the villian is showing up with here are losing to the hero and not Kx or AA. That being said, if the villian is c/c'ing with a high percentage of hands that lose to you on the flop, why wouldn't you go for this same idea on the turn? What is your plan after checking behind?

Also, Ive seen you posting here for a while and it seems like your BR has skyrocketed recently. I am tripping?
