Bottom set against tighty

Villain is 12/10/3 over 250 hands. I probably should've bet river and called a raise, but as played I thought I should only call.

Why aren't we betting the flop for value? Sure the check is seductive and deceptive, but villain will call with a BUNCH that we beat.

i'd bet this flop.

Well I figure a c/r seems more deceptive on this kind of board since we're repping such a small range.

Yeah, in hindsight I shoulda bet the flop though. Seems like the best play.

bet flop. as played bet turn, as played check raise turn. Bet river, as played you need to raise to something... maybe minraise or just a bit more and fold to a shove, but hand is so screwed on flop turn and river that when we get the action back to us on river we're severely under-repped and it's just a weird spot.

this hand is not good.

going for a c/r on the flop is standard, but you have to lead the turn when it checks around.

Yeah, when I got to the river I was in disgust at how I'm making so little value.. I think the fundamental mistake was definitely not betting the turn.

do everything but what you did.
Prefer a lead on flop rather than c/r as this flop def hit a good % of his range. he may raise the flop or just choose to call - but you get a turn bet when checked too him IMO.

tbh I fold PF a decent %, big leak? I think it's a pretty simple fold if there isn't a coldcaller.

I fold preflop a large portion of the time also. I found out a while back pps well just aren't that great, especially oop. It's harder to extract, and pps that turn into underpairs don't really make for that profitable of a bluffing range because you have so little equity when called.

And badgers, if we are repping only 33 or air, then wouldn't a check/raise be great?

But tbh, I'm kinda indifferent on our flop line. Leading, and check/raising both seem fine imo.

how often do you fold when your opponent is representing one hand?

not often but I'm not a total nit. If we check/raise we are always getting stacked by AA/KK and not always getting it in with AK because this person is a nit. I also think we can get more value from AQ and also more value from the CO with a wider range if we lead.

No I don't think it's a good spot to c/r bluff...

river bet 3/4 and if he raises then probably just call
