Zook, I don't get it;
Why aren't we betting for 'protection' against overcards (basically buying villains equity shares in the pot)?
I agree this alone is often not a good reason, but I imagine the more opponents there are in the pot, the more important it becomes.
It's not like we get c/red here very often, and even if we check and improve we're not gonna win a huge pot.
