Yes your rasies was right you have a set the guys only way of winning is if he has QQ or AA and odds are he doesn't he may have AQ or even AK down to AT but you have that dominated only two hands you have to worry about is AA or QQ and you have to know your opp. if he's a nit he might and all other you 3bet and if rerasied push
-
seems like if you have only played 6 hands with him your stats over 20 hands is irrelevant. a raise here is extremely standard. its a very drawy board and we can (or rather should) have some draws he might put us on for balance and such.
-
(I added another hand to my original post)
-
yea raising the flop is STD, getting it early really depends on him hitting this board. If he missed slowing down ain't getting you anymore value. I typically raise all sets unless I have a reason not to.
-
No offense but for one I don't think you should be playing at 50NL. And for two, why are you shortstacking it anyways? Shortstackers have a lot easier decisions btw.
-
all advice is welcome. but i didnt know i was playing at 50NL, I thought I was playing at 0.50NL
I thought people who said 50NL meant $50 .00NL
No-one told me. damn , Ive lost $105 in 2 days.
-
-
I have Around $500 I can spare, but i wouldnt call it a bankroll. its cash I have.
-
yea you need to stop playing right now you are WAY underrolled to be playing at this level, and your skills are underrolled too judging by your questions.
-
ok .05/.10 ?
I have got 2 books ive started, one by
harrington and another on the theory of poker by that othet chap.
and
-
$25nl full-stacked or yes, even $10nl
-
ok, im going in at .05/.10
-
I would play 10Nl until you see a wining rate for a significant amount of hands. Particularly since you sound like you don't have all $500 on line in case you lose a bit.
-
ok, ill play in my comfort zone. see if I can build.
