if this is his normal raise size then we are a 54% favorite against his 7% raising range. im not folding, but the question is if 3betting is a leak

I would 3 bet, Why are you showing flop in hand?

Folding this is bad. We have position and a strong hand. I'm less inclined to 3-bet because we have position. Why do you 3-bet this bigred?

if you are hero: call pre, don't fold.
if you are engel: raise flop for value/take down/free turn/likely cheap showdown.

As for the hand, yeah I guess I call preflop but I'm not happy at all if we want to 3bet.

Sorry, I meant that about 3betting. I'm too tired. I meant it in the sense that I am calling but I'm not overly happy with my hand that I want to 3bet with it that I think some said earlier.

This confused me when you posted it in IRC, and it confuses me still.

First of all, your options are raise or call. Folding is not an option.
I remember you said he's 15/7 over 50 hands. That doesn't say much. I just recall a chat with a guy who raised every time I checked, so I decided instead of c-betting I would check-raise him. So he bets, I raise with TPGK, he thinks about it for a long time and folds 2 pair. Later he said he's not calling 2-pair against an 10/6 when he check-raises. I'm not 10/6, but he only had a couple of dozen hands and I happened to not get any cards during that period.

Apart from that, even if he's 5/4 over 100k hands you have to call this. 1/8 times you flop a set, and this is when you stack him.

If I thought he had AK+ JJ+ there for sure, I would call with 68s as deep as you two are. - But I'm pretty sure you got his range wrong, and or jacks are likely to be good uninmproved.

My bad actually my question is about pre-flop. I fucked up the post including the flop. It's pretty obvious I should have at a minimum called or raised!

I think the idea of NOT posting results applies here too. That is. Normally if you post a hand you dont post the final result. So that ppls opinions are not tainted by the final last card. Now, you folded before the flop, and you want opinions based on what the flop was. But yOU FOLDED so the flop could have been any permutation of the remaining 50 unseen cards. To sum up. Say the flop had been AAA OR 999 , IT doesnt actually matter, what matters is. WAS YOUR DECISION CORRECT AT THE TIME? not AFTER THE EVENT. (am i correct?)

Honestly, villain has a tight EP raise range so it might not be the best play but I hate set mining with JJ. I guarantee there will be many calls behind and that clearly turns JJ into a set it or forget it hand. JJ will also lose a lot on a T or less than high flop multiway. I like the 3 bet for isolation and then playing flop appropriately.

I'm intrigued as to the actual outcome of the hand. Who flat calls and then calls a 6xbb reraise as StoreKanon did and then to continue as he did?

Ok, he could have KK/AA and take the lame line of waiting for a raise but when he got it he didn't reraise further. And then he goes mental on a dangerous flop.

Also, would like to know how others would have played JJ on such a board.

I am with Bigred here as another benefit to 3betting is that you can potentially narrow his range as he would most likely 4bet/push with KK and def would with AA.
