what types of boards do we like to float in position on missed flops when we're the intial raiser?
or better what's the texture that we're looking for when you feel u can put pressure on the donk bet on later streets?
i know that this all dependant on many factors...but is there a general guideline (not rules) to playback on good boards and ones you just fold? it may be clear to you but looks like mud to me.
Its not only dependent on the board, but also on the other player. If you know that a player likes to lead out with a weak ace or middle pair but will fold to a large bet on the turn, then a float is probably decent on a pretty dry board.
raise over donk bets. donk bets are weakness more often than not
i noticed that when villain flops hard, they will check-raise the flop and lead the turn
That said, we can donk away with monsters - ppl don't expect huge hands to bet right out.Quote:
