The first hand looks fine to me, for the second hand I probably call the raise and re-evaluate on the turn. He's definitely not stacking off with anything worse than what we have.

Possible hands for the min-raise:

89, 45 = 16 combos
67 = 9 combos
A2-5, A8-10 of spades = 7 combos
66, 77 = 6 combos
A6o, A7o= 12 combos

I am behind 6s, 7s, 67, A6o, A7o, and AK which is 27.
I am beating 23 combos.

Calling the min-raise would have been smarter.

Hand 1: fine, bet flop & turn bigger though.

Hand 2: I don't agree that he always shows up with a 7 here. More aggressive donks do this with weaker aces frequently. The weak-ass turn bet could be raised over as minbet-fold is pretty common from donks, but a call is fine too as your hand does have decent showdown value vs a donk's range. If he's very passive, or weak/tight then it's a fold.

Hand 3: Fine as long as villain's flop raising range contains a bunch of weaker aces, draws etc... Bad if he's very passive because you're probably behind a passive player's flop raising range who would opt to call with draws & weak aces.

Last two hands are fairly villain dependent so reads are nice :)

Yeah, I really need PokerTracker but playing at 2NL makes it tough to get the cash together. Especially when you run bad.

There wasn't much of a read on either villain.

hand 2 he doesn't have a seven every time
sometimes he also has a set for a boat ;)

it's a clear fold, even though donks might play Ax this way, why bother? it's clearly not going to be more often than a huge hand

the range that "makes sense" for him crushes you
he's going to have air like 5% of the time here
he's going to have Ax maybe even less because donks LOVE calling

last hand is not good
he minraised you aka hi I have a set
even if he has a flush draw or a straight draw, a safer option is to call and re-evaluate the turn

in fact I'll just go ahead and give him his "free" card on the turn because he already paid to draw anyway

The last hand was probably due to being a little on tilt from the first hand.

98% to win really only means that you are 2% to lose.

Forgive my ignorance, but what effect does him being a poster make? Are people that have posted more likely to show up with sets or strange two-pairs?

Yes, this is what I meant, sorry to OP that I wasn't clear. I agree that it doesn't matter that much but this is something that factors in on such a read-dependent decision.
