Playing TPTK too strong? 10NL

I feel I played this hand poorly. What do you guys think. The only read on villian I have is his stats are 24/5 over 50 hands and based on his crappy PFR size hes probably not that good.

That situation officially sucks. Normally I would 3-bet it PF to get rid of the limpers. You don't want to play AQ in a multi-way pot, but you're out of position. Folding to the donk raise is pretty tough, but I would consider it. I think you would be better off calling SC's and small PP's hoping to flop a monster anf folding QJ+ type of hands.
This is not really the flop you are hoping for. If you bet out you're getting called by a lot of hands, and you build up a pot without having any idea where you're at.
As played I think you can fold to the min-reraise. This is pretty much always a very strong hand from a passive donk.
I'm not so sure about the OOP bet on the flop either. I would rather check and wait for a blank turn to fire. Strictly for pot control.

Thanks alot I was thinking all of that except for the 3bet PF which I dont think I have ever done with AQo LOL. I would probably fold this after the minraise if villian wasnt half stacked. I never think shortstacks have anything. Soo I should start 3betting preflop to get rid of limpers, and then vs. just villian this is alright to stack off with?

Everything that you said about the preflop play is fine. However, OP should do the exact opposite of everything you said about postflop.

Because of the stack sizes and flop pot size, you're basically forced into stacking off. Pot control is not of concern here.

Ok, but you're not playing 50bb effective stacks on the flop, you're still playing 100bb deep against 3 guys. Would you make a standard bet? Half of the deck are scarecards and you're OOP. If you overbet it you're setting yourself up to play a big pot with one pair in a 5-way pot.

If it checks to the button and the button bets it's a different story. I would shove over at this point.

When in doubt spoonitnow is always right of course, but I'm not so sure about the bet on the flop.

Is this better or should I make it more Preflop?

It always depends on what you want to do. In that hand you want to buy position and get a crying call from broadway connectors and middle pairs.
+ Your average 10NL nit will be scared shitless any type of 3-bet, and you can probably take it down on a lot of flops if the SB doesn't improve.

I think it's the right play generally.

they all folded after the bet it's not like they're all going to stack off at the same time

So betting it there OOP is good, because they will have folded?
Am I missing something?
