A few interesting hands from tonight (25NL)

My friend likes to bet like 1/2 pot bets to "see where he's at" and then fold to re-raises if he thinks he is beat and i can't seem to persuade him otherwise (like when i think i'm priced in to the call). We talk quite a lot of poker and he is pretty conservative whereas i like to make plays and am not that afraid to get my money in.
It's good to have another perspective and these are some hands he didn't agree with me on:

However these are a couple of hands that perhaps i could've played better and i would like to know your feedback on them people.

Villain was 60/4/0 over ~ 30 hand sample and had history when he limp-reraised from UTG and i folded JJ on a 6:heart: 9:spade:9 :heart: flop to a check/raise.

My thinking is board is draw heavy and he could have a combo draw that just called flop hoping to hit it. Turn missed OESD and flush draw so i decide to put him all in incase he was chasing.

Hand #2

This hand was a fun hand, villain was relatively unknown at the table but playing a bit tight over ~20 hands. He'd stolen my blinds for last 2 orbits.

Hand 1: UTG has a set most likely, or if he's loose, a straight
if he's good he might have a pair + strong draw
I'm not 3betting the flop, I'm flatting the flop and I'm hesitant to stack off because it's a rags flop and his limp/call range is probably rags so he has some piece for sure

since he's 60/4 he could even have two pair here since 68 or 58 are hands that he'd play
but he doesn't have a draw because he's not good/aggressive enough to bet with a draw

Hand 2: does villain raise a wide range from the button? Usually there is no point in a raise here unless he does
cbet the flop, and probably give up if he calls
what sucks is that you're behind ace high

Ok so played a few more hands and have a couple of interesting spots i'd like to discuss but i'm just wondering if here knows how to check the hands by hand number in HEM?

Like when you hover over the graph it'll say hand # 503, how do you find hand #503 in your database? I can't seem to tell it to grab that hand which is annoying...

Also what's a nice quick way to find villains stats? Currently i have to run the report with 0-100 VPIP 0 hands and just search the list for him... maybe i could try adding him as a hero? That worked kinda well.

I think this was a bad call, i only beat ace high but i hadn't seen him bluff with ace high for this much before so without proper reads i should've folded. Maybe raise/fold flop?

I think this hand influenced my decision as i quite clearly didn't want to give up my jacks again.
I know one of my problems is i think too much and think that my opponents think on the same level as a normal TAG which at this limit really isn't that true.

For example i would raise that flop with a combo draw, or even with pair+OESD but would prob fold to the raise or push over it rather than flat call.
I think flat calling here represents a big hand rather than a draw. I would've been more comfortable calling all-in on the flop and it was prob a bad move to push on the turn. Anyone else have comments on hand 1?

Hand 2 is an example of me over thinking. I was going to go for a check/raise on the flop, and when it missed i decided to bet like i had it and hope my opponent would realise that my intention was to check /raise the flop, but instead had to try and make up for lost ground.

His stealing stats were pretty high, like 50% but then again he'd only been sitting down at the table a while so the sample was small.

Yeah i do on the river but not when the money went in. Anyway the question is whether or not to call and i think w/o a read this is just a donkey call tbh. (bad)

Hand 4: I checked the turn for a couple reasons. I had been doing a lot of c-betting at the table and i think people were starting to get fed up with me, so i thought i'd set up a trap and pop him on the river!
No but srsly you know when you get that feeling from how long it takes them to check that they have something? I saw monsters and checked behind. Then when he donk bet the river i thought he could've made the flush and just called. Raise river as played? :S
