Asking a questions a minute is annoying especially when the questions are things like "how do you search for a player?"...
"What does CiB mean?"...
followed by...
"Why would you do that?"...
Well, it was explained to me what CiB meant, but I didn't know whether it was a useful "move" or not. I think it's completely justified. Sure, I forgot that searching for a player on Stars is under Request. I don't normally look people up on Stars. For me it's faster to ask while I'm looking through all the menus in hopes that someone will answer. If no one answers it's 0 EV. If someone answers before I find it it's +EV.Quote:

So if I asked half of the questions I did, even the stupidest bottom of my range, I wouldn't get all of the answers I got. Maybe I wouldn't know how counterfeitting works in Omaha and you guys wouldn't think I'm annoying. But fuck it, I'd rather be thought of as a fool than to be one.

It can be better to ask too many questions than not enough, imo.
No it was a little different, I was asking about when you pair your card I think the board was 2345 or something, so I was asking whether I have the nut low since I paired my card. So while I still have the nut low I got "counterfeitted" because any ace has a nut low on this board and I'm getting quartered if there's a flush out there. It's not that it makes your hand worse, it just improves everyone else. I didn't really understand the concept of counterfeitting in O8 until we had that discussion.Quote:

I wouldn't say SO annoying. But WTF have you been doing for almost 4 years, just playing SnGs?
I only do this on the nth question in 10 minutes where n > 50.Quote:

If someone asks a question without putting any thought into the question then it's quite frequently a dumb question. Against some people making them feel dumb is amusing and not detrimental. Helping people learn how to ask good questions can be more important than answering their question.
This is obv easier to pull off IRL.
awesome, I spent the whole night thinking about where I´ve seen her before...here?Quote:

I stopped playing after UIGEA because I couldn't get my money out from poker sites, didn't know how to deposit in the ones that still allowed US players and I was generally afraid they're going to crack down on all sites and I wouldn't be able to get my money outQuote:
