I HATE THIS PLAY!

Maybe fire back preflop? I hate just CC a pp without position. Maybe this is basic and Im just going to lose the chips here every time? We were only 4 hands deep at the time so no real reads on villain.

Preflop I would call because this kind of massive over-raise is often a small pocket pair or AK that doesn't know what to do postflop if they miss. I would call with the intention of getting it in on a non A/K, non two broadway card flop or if we hit a set (obv).

As played, this is a c/f for me with two broadways on board.

I hate that I just called off that large of a bet to just fold the flop if any two broadway hit. Or if even a single card, A,K,Q,J. I still dont know where Im at being its a 5+.50. Ive seen AJ open push before. Its just a dumb situation to be in.

The thing is, you hit a set 1 time in 8.5 and flop an overpair about 30% of the time (I can't work out how often you flop only one Q/J overcard) so you're actually not check/folding the flop as much as you might think. I don't like 3-betting preflop since if you get shoved over you have to call, and I'm definitely not folding in this spot without a ninja read.

Vs 2 opp on 2 over board I fold it, I would call preflop

Nothing wrong here. I might fold 99 or worse in this spot.
