I think Palin is more qualified to be president than anyone else in the race. She only has two years experience as govenor, but that is two more years of executive branch experience than anyone else in the race. Everyone else has legislative experience.

When's the last time a Senator was elected president? They typically aren't. Govenors are typically elected president.

This article is sooooooooooooooo bias (like most political discussions) but he's probably right when it comes down to it... Mccain probably screwed himself. Palin is a high risk move that probably won't yield a high reward.

Also one more thing: I always rip on Democrats because they'll say anything (and then go back on it later, see: John Kerry). Republicans usually (and i have to say Bush hasn't really follow this, but he is just so beyond terrible i'm going to exclude him) don't really care and will honestly say what they're going to do and do whatever the fuck they want. Mccain is really going against that here cause this is clearly a move for votes, he just lost mine.

neocon is an abbreviation of neo-conservative or new-conservative. it is referring to the policy changes made in the party based in political conservativism (republicans) which has happened over the last several years or decades (im not sure about the exact timeline).

great examples of conservative policies are small government policies, yet the neo-conservatives are big government. neocons are no longer conservatives, but referring to them as neo-conservatives has been the easiest label.
