Hand 1 - 17 hands is too few for a decent read, but 47-6 suggests that he doesn't bet enough pre-flop and isn't much good. So, if he's a bad 10nl player, then he probaby has not much clue about bet sizing, making this a fold for me pre-flop (it's rare for a 10nl player to be 3-betting wide!). Respect 3-betting at stakes less than 100nl is generally good advice...

assuming you see a flop... I flat call here, and same with turn - which is usually a monster hand trying to get you to bet! river is a clear fold, what are you ahead of here? any king beats you, and it's unlikely that villain is river pushing less than top pair...

Hand 2 - raise more preflop, to 55cents minimum, maybe more as you're out of position post flop. AA 4-way to a flop is a horrible situation, especially out of position - and that flop is about as bad as it could possibly be. I seriously consider checking the flop...

Pretty much daven said, the sample being small I would flat call any reasonable bet and trying to see a cheap showdown. I wouldnt feel too confident with this kind of weird betting from a bad player


hand 2 :
again daven summed it up. Playing at NL10 as well, I would raise even bigger, maybe to .70 or 80. When you see this kind of loose passive players limping, you can make them do big mistakes by raising more and they will still call most of the time
