Stressbusters
Bad beats I can handle mostly.
In cash games it's run of the mill: take notes and move on. In tournies its to be expected, particularly in the 5 and 10 buck ones I play. But man oh man, when you bust out of 3 big tournies in a row with 2 outers and runner-runners it stings a bit. I nearly broke the table with the last one.
Im not one for bitching about beats, what Im asking is what do you do to vent that doesnt involve a possible fracture :)

Personally, all I do is remind myself that I got all my chips in the middle with the best hand. Maybe I am more even keeled than others but that works for me.
Another thing I try to do is make a mental note of the times that I am on the positive side of the suckout pond. everybody remembers when they take a bad beat, but few of us remember when WE hit that two outer on the river.
Btw, 3 tournie bad beat bust outs in a row is not that big. I remember a string of about 6-8 about a year ago. Now THAT was frustrating.
