Should read hero bets turn, shoves river. I think the converter is screwed up.

fine up to the turn, then depending how agro oppenent is i like a checkraise all in, going into check call/fold mode on this board is pretty bad imo. Also as your both fairly deep stacked you neeed to be 3 betting larger oop, closer to 6.

Are overpairs always teh nUts against unknowns on boards like this?
-
no they aren't the nuts. but he never gave you a reason to think you are behind. I assume when you fold the river it's because you put him squarely on a flush draw which is more reason to bet the turn. That is a pretty safe flop and turn for us.
-
no, obviously there are tons of other factors we have to take into account, specific reads/stats would help with this. But against this guy whos either super agro or simply a good player (making reference to stack size) he could easily be floating us on the flop or be turning his mid/low pair or whatever into a bluff. As played i probs fold this as to many hands by the river beat you but thats only due to your weak/passive line earlier in the hand.

I like this hand.
I probably bet a bit more on the turn.
In a 3bet pot there are usually less draws in villians range but in this case (call, call) with that bet-sizing on river if villian isn't overly aggressive I usually find a fold as you did. (as there isnt another draw he could be on -sometimes villians call call with str draws, using flush cards as bluff outs.)
You really only beat 88-JJ and most villians are checking behind river thinking their hand has showdown value and very rarely value betting them in this spot or turning it into a bluff. (If he's good enough to turn hands with showdown value into a bluff he's good enough to know a 1/2 pot size bet isn't going to fold a hand he doesn't beat often enough at 25nl to be +ev)
