Do the lines ever change from Sklansky bucks on top to showdown winnnings in the middle and total winnings at the bottom. Is it one of those things where we never get it in bad?
This is a serious question, i have never seen it over the last 6 months

This is my EV graph for April so far all at 50nl. Make of it what you will, but the lines clearly don't just stay in one place. Btw, Sklansky bucks is an indicator of how well you are running and the red and blue should converge over time. If your blue line is way below your red you are running badly.

This one is since I started a BR building challenge video series for our members on Grinderschool. All $5NL.
I did it for some omaha hands and the blue was highest and my green was way low. I can post this if necessary but don't really feel like it.
Jyms in both of your graphs you run like shit but also either play bad or get coolered a lot. You should be marginally winning in both graphs ev wise, but as I say it depends upon coolers etc.
Just to thoroughly depress everyone:
This is kotkis from 2+2 from this thread (page 3 #26)

He's having god awful luck in showdown pots, but even so, he's still losing money in showdown pots with equity adjusted. He makes up for it by making a ton of very effective bluffs post flop to pick up pots that don't go to showdown, and thats where he makes his money.
At our stakes, there's no need to make a ton of bluffs since our opponents are too loose, we'll always have better cards, and win at showdown. When our cards are crap - (2nd best hands, coolers, no action etc etc) then we lose / breakeven - thats probably whats happening with you.
He didn't put up any stats in the thread, but FWIW he says his Won $ when seen flop = 52%
I need to learn this style - win even when were running bad lol.

My total winnings is always way above the other two. I'm thinking I'm going to go back to a slightly tighter and more passive game pre and on the flop because I'm losing too many big pots.
This is my incredibly bad run at 25nl. I've been having a poker existential crisis since about 5k hands into this, but I'm beginning to recover. Anyway, my total won is always way above SBs and SDWs. http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/4...25nlqv2.th.png
thats a good thing. it means you're playing non-showdown poker really good. as for the other two, closer the correlation, the more correctly you're putting the money in when you're supposed toQuote:

Yes you can.... AA vs 22 is not a marginal situation but if aces win 100% of the time you are running aboe expectation.Quote:

A couple ideas that might help out;
cbet less, too many cbets can bloat pots that we are not winning. By cbetting less we could reduce
losses in nonshowdown pots
3 bet less, this basically follows the same train of thought as above
and I could have a leak in playing my bottom end of my raising range. These hands rarely go to
showdown.
thoughts?
WTF!? Thats just wrong..Quote:
