I want to raise the turn but the annoying part is that you can't really make a committing one.

In terms of the river... In my POV his betting sizes and line looks like he won't show you a lower flush. If from your history you believe that this is the case, then you should flat the river.

Since you didn't say anything about specific reads (about lines he's taken before or bet sizing shit) i just default shove this river. Any raise less than that is bad because he's basically flatting all flushes and only raising things that beat you.

I take it he showed you 55? Bad beat! I don't think a self-aware LAG would play 88 like this, though T8 is a possibility.

Yah I agree. If the turn and river brought like a J and 9 or something I'd be a lot more likely to flat this (since a boat would be a lot more likely) but I doubt the 4/5 helped him get a boat.

I think he either flopped a boat or you have him.
