My new Band: cover of Ellington's "Caravan"

check it out, I know most of y'all arent into this style, but you might enjoy it :) I posted a few weeks ago a MIDI version of this arrangment here, well here is the live studio version :) The band is called Orquesta Dharma. It's still in mixing process and not yet mastered, but I'm pretty happy overall with the results so far. These cats are awesome I got to record, hopefully be gigging with this band soon. Enjoy!

That's pretty cool jdubs. That's a tune our combo plays on occassion. Kinda bummed out, the only fullt-time jazz club here(Louisville) just closed down

Awesome what do you play? I'm in a jazz quartet atm playing the percussion etc. etc. Going to a gig in London tonight actually, should be amazing :D

I remember playing this in middle school, fun song for us percussionistas :}

Thanks man, that's too bad the jazz club shut down, I hear way too much of that these days- this music is so underrepresented in the country in came from, really sad.

Thanks... nah, I can probably get something booked now, this mix isnt great but it will do for a low level venue club gig. I just have to get my shit together and start working on getting booked. :lol:
